Self-Guided Relaxation

While this room is intended for self-guided relaxation, we've provided links to useful meditation materials in the printed rules inside the room. Please feel free to use these resources to enhance your experience.

For example, you can use a simple and very effective mindfulness meditation technique suitable for all levels of proficiency - meditation with focus on breath (anapanasati). Your main goal - Just. Observe. Breath. Very simple, right? Yet, it could be the most challenging experience in your life.

Start with 5-10 minutes, gradually increasing to 20-30 minutes as you become more comfortable with the practice. Very advanced practice could take hours. Because of this, try to find such a position in which you could literally spend hours. Lying down is acceptable but could lead to falling asleep, which is contradictory to your main goal - Just. Observe. Breath.
